Anyone ever used a ignition coil to replace a worn out coil in the mag? I realize this is not original but I heard this can be done and I dont want to spend the money for a new coil if this can be done. If this is possible can you give a quick idea of what needs to be done.

Thanks for all responses in advance
Jerry

I think all you need to do is run the wire from your new coil in to the existing condenser and clip the wire from the mag coil. maybe someone else will give more detailed instuction.
