To assure that the tractor is timed accurately
in what position is the rotor when mounting the
magneto. I also notice that on the end of the magneto that goes into the housing that there is an arrow and the letter "R". In what direction
should this arrow be pointing? Thanks so much Ken

I could probably describe it, I have done it so many times last spring, but probably the best thing is to get it from theCub Tech Bible.

Click on the link below, then Blue Ribbon Service Manuals then GSS-1012 Electrical.

That should solve all of your problems/questions.
