I usually recommend OEM. But, the tag for my C was OK, however the tag for my Super H was scratched (like it had been loose in a box with a bunch more, and the holes did not match the holes in the clutch housing, also they did not send the rivets -- going to get one somewhere else next time. I also bought a under the seat battery box from OEM because they are U.S. made, OEM manufacturers their own, one of the brackets did not match the bolt in the transmission cover, had to enlarge it and use a flat washer to cover the bigger hole. Some of their items are apparently painted, some are primed, the paint is the wrong color, and the paint/primer must be completely removed before painting because it is not compatible with either Case-IH 2150, or the PPG equivalent -- it lifts the new paint. I not going to quit buying from OEM, but I am going to be careful what I buy, and perhaps be prepared to modify it.

Dave, I bought a plate for my 52 "H" from o.E.M., and it came out great. you can buy a blank and stamp it yourself or pay extra and they will stamp it for you. I suggest paying the extra to have them stamp it as you can't buy the stamps and do it yourself as well as they can. Also, not everything is stamped. Some things are etched or painted. You need to give them the year of your tractor as there is a new style and an old style. A phone call will allow you to ask questions and get answers. One more thing, the rivet holes may not match exactly, but you can elongate the holes in the plate a bit to fit.

O.E.M. Tractor Parts 800-283-2122 has them. They will sell blanks, or complete them for you.
