Has anyone seen the Farmall 400 with the electrall accessory on ebay yet? It's for sale for "buy it Now" for $2000, I think. It's located in New Jersey. Don't know if that's the actual picture of the tractor, though, could be some other 400 picture.

That picture in the eBay item is MY tractor. I have owned it for four years and I still own it. You will find the same picture in the Tractor Photo section of this site. Do not bid on that tractor if you value your money and sanity.

This is the same guy who put up an Electrall several weeks ago. Bids went to $1048 but didn't meet the reserve. It was missing alot of parts and had no guarantee. He would not include the Electrall transmission with the sale. He held it back so that he could sell it to the buyer after the auction. Even though I would like another Electrall, the whole deal stunk and I did not bid or offer to buy the transmission. The trannies are very rare.

I emailed him several times and included the eBay picture that he is using. Someone needs to drop a wheel weight on his head.

Ask him what the serial number of the tractor is. Compare it to the serial number of the photo in my picture.

The link for his his previous eBay auction is at the bottom of this page.

I will also copy one of my emails

I was surprised at your reserve price and the level of bidding. From what
I could see, you are basically selling parts with no guarantees. That's
risky with electrical stuff: particularly something with a control panel.
No buyer could be certain that his purchase would ever run. I did not bid.

Your Electrall was missing a number of parts.

I have a complete unit that runs. It has never been off a low hour Farmall
400. I could make (or have someone else make) the missing parts.

1. Belt tension rod
2. Belt guard
3. Frame bracket (cast)
4. Off/on cable
5. Missing gear in gearbox
6. Drive belt
7. (optional) three phase four wire pigtail to wire around obsolete
recepticle

Below are links to pictures of my tractor.

i emailed the guy and he wrote me back that the electral doesn't go with it. looks to me like he's trying to sucker someone, since they are demanding immediate payment.
