I just found a TD-9 with new steering clutches for asking $2000. I told the wife I needed the last tractor #3 because it had a 3pt that I could use for grading my 800 ft driveway, so that argument is shot. Is three tractors and one bulldozer overkill for 10 acres? Keep in mind, wife is Irish with volatile temper and knows combination to gun safe!

I have 5 acres and 2 tractors to the acre. See it can be done, just put your gunsafe under one of the tractors you have already, she'l never think to look there! Good luck!

I would like to have one for every peice of equipment I have. One for the baler, One for the rake, one for the tedder, and so on.

This is easy. You need the dozer to level the spot to put the new building to hold the equipment that you need for the 10 acres. With out this new building, the equipment that you are currently investing in may have to sit out in the weather. And I am certain that it would cost more than $2,000 dollars to level out an area for a new building. At least it worked for me.

And never store the shells with the guns. That is always good advice.

Another good ratio is one tractor for every pair of shoes that she has.
