I have had an Internation Harvestor chest type
deep freeze for over 40 years and I purchased
it used. It still runs great!
Does anyone know where I can acquire manuals
and/or any info on this freezer. It was purchased
by the original owner in Palmyra, IN

Anyone know how much an IH freezer (model 200) would be worth? At this time it is not working. A side from that it is in near perfect condition.

Thanks.

what exactly are you looking for? Post the model #
to find out the year of manufacture.

That must have come from Jacobi Sales, who is still selling Case/IH from the original building on the west side of Pal...but their old appliance building was empty the last time I was thru there, after the auto parts store there closed.

Doesn't supprize me any that it still works. I have a refrigerator that was purchased by my grandmother in the 40's. She got it at a discount price from the store, because it wasn't a new one, it was a demonstrator. It was the only refrigerator she owned, never worked on, never even recharged, and still works. Freezes my beer if I sat it to close to the freezer compartment. Everyone says to get rid of it and get a new one that uses less electicity. I could, but I would be buying another new one in 5 to 8 years. I'm gonna keep it and see how long it works. They don't make stuff like they use to.

This freezer uses very little electric.
Has thick walls.

Manuals show up on EBAY every once in a while--I think I saw a couple on there the other day.

What year is it. My mother has one in her basement that was bought in the late 40's or early 50's that doesn't work any more, don't know if she still has the manuals for it though but can ask.
