By welding a piece of scrap to the bolt holding the gearlever I got it out ok , and yes , the end of the gearlever was VERY worn , probably only 2/3 the size of the AW6 I have to replace it.
The selector groove for 1-R is also worn , particularly on the back side.
I managed to align the AW6 , no troubles , but this one is a whole new ball game !.
The 3-4 is right , 4-5 is a bit forward , 1-R is well forward , but I can't move any of them !.
I have the nearside wheel off the ground , my "better half" is moving the wheel for me , but no go !.
Should I concentrate on getting 4-5 right first ?, will that make the 1-R selector free up some ?.
Any helpful suggestions gratefully received !.

While going about my chores late in the afternoon , I found a piece of steel that looked like it just might do the job , and it did !, I have those 3 ducks all in a row !.
Now , tomorrow I'll put it all back together , with a better condition gear lever , and see what happens !.

Glad ya got it all functioning Rob.
Now I guess you'll be heading up to Cootamundra to the Record Ploughing Championship event at Easter. Regards, Redfan.

Well , funny you should say that !, I'm going up that way , but all the way to QLD just after easter , but to drive bullocks , not a tractor !.
But I'm picking up a nice Fergie 2 furrow mouldboard plough tomorrow , that would fit on the Leyland 154 just nicely !.
I wonder if I can get a "leave pass" for easter as well ??.
Are you going to the event ?, how many tractors are they hoping to get ?.A couple of thousand , isn't it ?.

Yes, we hope to take 4 over, we're only a bit over an hour from Coota., so we really can't pass up the chance. Last I heard they were aiming at 3000 but it looks like they might even beat that. One bloke is bringing in 4 from Canada, how keen is he?

I doubt that my ACCO will be on the road in time for that , so I'd have to get a lift with someone else , otherwise I could have bought the w6 and the 154.
What are you taking ?, and who is gonna drive them ?.
