Farmall H Wiring

Just bought the 47 H and need to rewire. I believe the 6V generator has a cutout on it, not a regulator. It only has three teriminals, BAT, F and GEN. My question is, do I need a wire from F terminal generator to F terminal Cutout? The wiring diagram in my manual does not show a wire, just one wire from F generator to switch.
Thanks in advance,
Bruce

Typically the F terminal on the cutout is not used if you have lights on the tractor. The wire wound resistor that is used to reduce the field strength / output is part of the light switch. If no lights, a wire from the generator F terminal direct to ground would be high charge and a wire to the F terminal on the cutout would be low charge. There is a resistor similar to the one on the light switch inside the cutout. This is how it work's on the A,B,C. I assume the H is the same.

Bruce - The wiring diagram in you manual is correct - the "F" terminal terminal on the cutout is not ordinarily used.
