Fellas,

I told you all last week that my A was frozen so I couldn't pull start it even in neutral with the clutch in. We only tried to pull it a short ways but apparantly too far. It looks like an old crack from the governor housing down to the pan rail came apart further. It looks like someone had patched it with either bondo or liquid steel and painted over it.

Now, where can I find a new block or get this one cast iron welded?

Mike, There are plenty of plcaes that you can buy a block from. But your most economical way out would try posting in the classified section on this site. Sorry to here of your bad luck.
