I have a few questions. I havent been able to find the answers to. First does anyone know how many 856 LP's were made??? Also how many High Crop 856 LP's were made?? I have found one 856 high crop LP and am interested in restoring it and just was wondering how had this is going to be. Also if anyone knows of where a 856 LP is for parts. Any info or help would be appericated.

Brad, By the time the 56 series got here, the lion share of tractors were diesel! So to have an LP and a High crop at that..... you are holding a rare tractor. Good Luck! Keep us all posted on your restoration progress.
Later,
John A.

PS... All of IHs records are @ University if Wisconsin. I don't think there much in the way of how many Diesels, Gas, LPs were made. They will all be lumped together in the serial #s starting @ one # and ending at another.
Phone # is 608-264-6400
