I use a Super A to cultivate veggies, and just aquired a hydralic unit that will place sweeps in between the plants and is retarted by a spring, like a "Power-hoe". I will require an additional hydralic control.
What is the best way to acheive this?
I would like to utilize the existing hydralics that operate the "touch-control".
There are "Allen head" screws in the hose block of the touch control, are these the access for remotes?
Would try anything to reduce the use of the manual hoe.

Yes you can take these out as thats the way i have seen loaders rigged on a C. Big line is return small one is pressure. If you need more hy-oil capacity a res can be screwed on at the filler hole on the other side.

Scruffy, I just added auxillary hydraulics to my Farmall 100. The easiest and neatest way is to get the tubes and hydraulic valve off a Super C, 200 or 230 that had a fast hitch on it. This set up was an option for the Super A, 100 or 130. If you would like to see a picture of it, let me know and I will post a picture on the Red Power Forum. I still haven't figured out how to post pictures here yet.

Thanks Red rider, my local old tractor wrecker is working on that idea right now, (he has a c with fast hitch) but the four feet of snow is slowing him down.

The system is the same as on the C and Super C and there is an aux. valve attachment from IHC. I have both a C and Super C that have them. You might be able to come by one from a Salvage Yard.

GOOD LUCK

You will need to buy a block that goes under the hydraulic manifold connection to the touch control unit. It goes between the manifold and the touch control unit. This will give you ports that you can connect your remote to. This will allow you to continue to use the touch control hydraulics, as well as the new unit. You can buy the block and the new remote valve from Saginaw County Tractor. I don't know if the price has changed or not, but it used to be $99 for the block and the control valve. They do not supply any hoses which will also be needed.

I don't own a Super A so I cannot speak with any authority. However, the Cub system allows for a remote hydraulic circuit. A block with ports and passages has to be inserted where the Touch-control unit and the two pipe manifold bolt together. That block may be in your parts book.

If that block is the same as what's used on a Cub, I could make you one.
