831 were built. They are actually rarer than a O-6.

An OS6 is an orchard tractor made for orchards with tall trees. There not equiped with orchard sheet metal like the o6. but have a low profile like the o6. They are collectable. I think about 1200 of these were made. They were made in the 40s into the 50s. I have the diesel verson of this tractor and an O6. Hope this helps.

A dealer here in Upstate, NY has one for sale, pretty decent...I know the history; spent about 90% of it's life running a mounted buzz saw. Hood is cut for a regular muffler, quickie paint thrown over about everything (but I guess IH did that at the factory too) and O-6 decals with both the "orchard" and "standard" decals on instead of just "orchard" (must be both come in the decal pkg.) Kinda neat and runs good, but doesn't seem like it's $3000 collectible! Pete
