Was looking to reline my own band brakes on my M does anyone know where to get the lining material and rivets? Thanks

BECAREFUL if the brake bands are discolored because of extreme heat (bluish color) don't take a chance on one of them breaking in two. Also brake bands like that stretch from the heat. Don't want an accident to save a few bucks. Thanks

Hey, Steve. I redid the brakes on an H, and found that for only a few bucks more at the IH dealer I could buy new bands and all, so I went that route.
I had to kind of reshape the bands to fit inside the drum, but it all worked out OK. Brakes work well.
