I noticed that on Super A that one end of the valve cover is tighten more excessively than the rest. When you look at it the actual cover is warped on that spot! This cannot be good. I know I have to remove the cover and find out what is going on so what should I expect to see. It does not seem to leak at this spot but sometimes when I crank the engine it will get stuck and I have to get the hand crank out to move it again( only when the battery is low). Any advice about this? Thanks from Bluenose country.

It sounds like when you say it "gets stuck", that it is simply getting to the worn part of the flywheel starter ring gear, notorious on these tractors. The engine stops in two spots, therefore, the starter always engages in those two spots. Nothing particularly wrong, I don't think about the valve cover and if it's not leaking, don't mess up a good thing.
