We have a 3588. The transmission brake linkage has the clevis I am used to, but above that, in the linkage, is a chrome cylinder with a grease zerk on one end. Is this an aftermarket kit? What is the proper way to adjust it? I assume you press the clutch down, then add grease to the cylinder until it presses the brake tight? Any help would be great!

The grease fitting is for lubrication, there is a spring inside the cylinder, adjust it normally or a little longer to make use of the spring action. This spring loaded setup does work better, just remember the pad on the inside does wear out.
