Jim: The C didn't have the water pump from factory, it has been added.

They are the same basic tractor with the Super C being the updated version. The C has a C-113 engine and the SC has a C-123 engine. The SC requires a water pump, because of the larger engine, that the C doesn't have. The radiator is slightly taller thus the grill is also taller. The SC has disc brakes and the C has band brakes. The brake and clutch peddles are straight on the C and curved on the SC. Because the radiator and grill are taller it raises the gas tank slightly.

These are about the only visable differences.

C Difference; I would buy a used Super C over a Farmall C just because it has cylinder liners that are well designed to meet the engine coolant and overhaul is easier because of that fact.
At the right price I would be please to have either tractor.

Do a search in archives... this has been done here at least a dozen times in the last couple of years...
