How much hy-trans does the belt pully gear box hold and are there any adjustments that can be made to the gears.paul.

A quart or two should be put in if the gear box is a new install. Otherwise, it gets lubed from oil flying up from the transmission.

The only adjustments I know of are shims placed in behind the hub where the pulley attaches. This adjusts the contact of the bevelled gears inside.
I don't know what the clearances should be, though.

I can't find anything on this in the manual. I have a couple of gurus I can email and ask. If they tell me anything I'll post back.
