Moving snow tonight with my 450, I lost partial use of one lever. I have a hydraulic loader with 2 way cyls. on both the bucket and the lift. The 450 has a fast hitch and factory power steering. Here's the problem: The inside hydraulic lever is hooked to the bucket dump, the center is hooked to the lift. I could dump the bucket, but it wouldn't roll back unless I would raise or lower the loader at the same time. I just had to move the center lever just a little, and it would roll back. The oil level is at full. What's wrong? Valve troubles? Thanks Guys.

What type of hose connections are you using? Worn points on IH connectors are a common problem when circuit works in one direction but not the other. Using Pioneer with IH is even worse.

Steve,
If the control linkage feels intact, you may need to get into that valve and see if it has internal problems.

But I also wonder if the problem could be in the bucket cylinder?
