Hello: just wondering if anyone has made any kind of 3 point hitch for a Farmall B? I have a few small garden implements that would work good if I had a category 0, 3 point hitch. I'm thinking mechanical or electrical lift. Any ideas, comments, examples or contacts?
Thanks

I don't know of anyone that made a kit for the B, but I made up a set of brackets to mount Saginaw's 3 pnt for the C/Super C tractors on my B. Just used 2 pieces of angle to mount by the sides of the hitch frame to the final drives on the B. To stabilize, I added a brace under the top link to the transmission cover. It worked well, but I had trouble holding the nose of the tractor down. Used it for several years until someone wanted the B more than I did, so I transfered the engine and hitch back to a Super C.

When I still had my B I was going to build one for it but never got around to it, instead I built a belly sickel mower for it and used a power steering pump from an old chev for the hydrolics. I was going to do the same thing for the 3 point

You can take two pieces of heavy angle iron, drill a 1" hole in one end, and bolt the angle iron to each side of your drawbar..the lower links of the implement will go through that. Get a cheap trailer winch and bolt it to the trans housing behind the shifter..connect the cable to the top link on the implement. you can raise and lower by using the winch. This is what i used on my 46' BN for a while...
