I have a '41 H and was thinking of selling it. It had an engine overhaul in sep 2001 with a new block. It has had trans. work, some seals repaced, new 4-5th sliding gear, Three point with good drawbar. the three point can lift the front end of the tractor easily. simple 12 volt system, painted in 2001 also. All new rubber in summer 2003. New guages, new single wire alternator. Need to work on ignition, used to start on very first spin, belived to be a new or reworked starter. year old battery. Has smaller 540 pto shaft with adapter. Want to get a Super M, MTA or Super MTA, already have 400, and want another to tractor pull with once a year at the county fair.

I have owned a number of H's, M's WD's, I have restored an rebuilt them putting in lots of money an time an I have found out like many of the people that have done this for amny years it's the labor of love an not money. You can put well over two thousand in an H an find out you can only sell it for three quarters of what you have in it an get nothing for your labor. The big problem with H's is that there are so many of them around that every one has one or two sitting around that are running an another two for parts sitting out behind the shed or barn thus the price for just about any of them is very low an in most case's well below what you have into one once it's restored.

So true. But dont hurt to try Ebay though. If its got nice paint on it never know what it will bring on there.
