does anybody know if a turbo will work with the carburator on an IH 666 gas. if so is there any certain turbo that is a perfect match for this application. also is there a larger carburator that will fit a 666 to get more power.

I saw a deal where you could put a turbo on like a grand am or sunfire and it looked like a heavy duty hair dryer. It was ran off of electricity and was controled by a toggle switch. I will try to see if I can find one and post the item number but go to ebay and key in turbo under autos or you will be getting turbo drive computers and etc.

there has to be somewhere, and you could always make something work, but you might have to pretty well destroy your manifold. My brother wanted to put a turbo on his farmall m to pull and have fun with. He hasn't gotten that far on his list of to do things due to money.

i dont think there'd be a problem modifying the manifolds, might be something else on the hood though. Don't see why it wouldn't work, other than doesn't the carb rely on gravity and vacuum to move the gas from the jets? Might be able to do some fab and get fuel pump and a holley or something on there but then the manifold would be the limiting factor in moving the fuel in.
