trying to figure out the best way to put AC on my 806 with cab. I had decided to try to find a Mark IV top unit but they seem to be scarce. I have decided to use componets from a IHC 715 combine (condenser) and eveparator from a NewHolland 912 windrower: I have planned a trip to a salvage yard to find a compressor bracked. I only see problems with mounting the condenser and having room to clean the radiator. Has anyone put componets on a tractor like this or what have you done

We put AC on 856 for a friend of mine, I ordered him the unit and we got ac compresser from JD , yes I know but i'm JD man myself, made the brackets from JD combine that i'm parting out, made all the hoses for it, we installed it about 3 or 4 years ago works prefect, set it up for 134A freon it cools good and has worked almost perfect, we had to order new fan switch this summer and have had to add 2 cans of freon, if you need to find out more call me at 816-586-2841 thanks mike

there was a factory ac system offered for the 1967 806 tractors with the ice cream box cab.

do you remember or know where the condenser was mounted? I went and got the eveparator out of the old NewHolland windrower today and it looks like it will work fine but there is not enough room for the 715 combine condenser. I may have to mount a IH Deluxe cab conednser above the rear window like they were. It is rather packed in front of the radiator to try to put much of a condenser in.
