I have a snow plow for a Super c tractor. Does anyone have instructions for hook up. It's lifted by the hydraulic arms, but I'm having trouble with the hydraulic arms breaking when they bind. I did some research and from what I've found on internet sites it actually looks like the plow is the original for a Super C. Can anyone help me.

Thanks.

Can you post a picture and I will tell you what you are doing wrong. I have one of these for my Cs. I do not have it on right now though (not enough snow yet), so I cannot send you any pictures. However, I can review your pictures and tell you what you are doing wrong.

I will take some pictures to post. I have triangle shaped pieces that hook to the hydraulic arms. The arms with springs that go to the plow frame for lifting seem to bind and torgue, putting pressure on hydraulic arms. I've seen a lot of pictures with chains used in some fashion to hook to the hydraulic arms, but I also saw a picture that looked exactly like the set up I have. I just want to get something hooked up that works.

Not enough snow to plow yet? Where are you at? We have a good foot here.

I am in Illinois. A little snow, but not enough to break it out.

Are you mounting this under the tractor or out front? It can be mounted both places if you have all the brackets. Check out the link below. This is a pic of my C with the blade on when I first got it.

Thanks for the pictures. Went to the local tractor shop that carries IH and they actually had a manual for the plow for both front and underneath mounting, they gave me a copy. Got the snow plow hooked up to the front mount. It's working great now. Now I have to find a set of chains.
