I have a TD9 w/ a 4cyl. I don't have any oil comeing to the top of the head. I don't know if I should. The push rods are solid. I know that is how my ford truck oils the lifter and cams. Another wierd thing is the oil pump. I have two manuals for the machine. They both show the same pump, but its not the one in the tractor. they show a somewhat side mounted pump w/ a small drive gear that i can't tell what it engages, but my pump bolts right under the crankshaft. the crank has a gear on it that drives a large gear on the pump shaft. Me real concern a this point is if I have proper lubrication for my valves and rocker arms. All advice is apperciated very much. God bless all! kenn, blythewood, sc

I struck the same problem with my A. To solve there is a stud in the centre that feeds the rocker arms. The hole was blocked. Unblock the hole and bingo. I would imagine this is the same set up.
