Anybody ever use one of the aftermarket water pumps on a B? Does it make a big difference? I ran mine today for about 6 hours with a disc behind it and toward the end, it got flat hot. My other question is this, Ive seen some heat indicators for sale for the Model B. I finally got a manual for the tractor and I cant find anything on that. How do the mount, and where? Should I have put one on before I started using these two tractors real heavily?
As always, thanks for the ad

You can mount a waterpump for a C just by bolting and adding the C fan belt for a pump. The guage mounts on the gov housing and the sender goes in the lower outlet where there is a flat place to drill and tap the hole. Maybe you should pull the radiator and the lower housing and clean the crud that mite be plugging the four holes at the bottom area of the sleeves using a piece of heavy wire and compressed air. With the housing off you can see in there also high pressure water will dislodge a lot of it. I would do this first and then you could add the waterpump and temp guage as it is already apart. I have o-hauled six in the past few yrs and it is about the rule that blockage will be found in tat area some times they have even been solid on all four holes and deep we have lots of bad water and after 60yrs of use it can realy show. Glad to help anytime gene b

Gene do you know if anyone is making that bracket that mounts to the govener housing. I have been looking for one for my BN but have had no success finding one. Guess I could make one if I could get someone to measure things up so I could play with some sheet metal.
