According to the SN plate (#38303) I have a 1935 F12, but mine is painted red. All that I have read says they changed from grey to red on Nov. 1, 1936. I know mine has been repainted, but I can't find a trace of grey on it anywhere. Could it be possible that some of the late '35s may have been painted red? Thanks in advance.

According to an article a couple of years ago in Red Power, the first Red F-12 was #FS-81837.

Anything is possible but remember that paint is 70 years old. it is hard to see anything that might be left.
