Not familiar with that PARTICULAR model, but in the late '60's/early '70's my family's farm equipment business sold some FMC SideWinder mowers. The 5x5 and 6x6 units were tough as nails--as long as you didn't do like one local guy with an International W-9, who replaced the shear bolts in his pto with grade 8 bolts; after replacing the SECOND pto shaft under warranty because it looked like a pretzel twist, FMC said no more! And for the compact tractors of the late '70's, like the little Satoh's that were just making waves in the market, the SX-50 was a well-matched mower. The BD-90, a 90" cut mower with three spindles that ran glorified lawn-mower blades off a single-belt drive from the main gearbox, was a POS behing a Super M...when you got into anything taller than a big lawn, you'd smoke the belts...strictly for light-duty use, I suppose.

But that's all I have any experience with. Hope this info helps.

Where can I get parts for my SW-6 tire drive mower? I need new A frames.
