Have you noticed how high parts are? While looking for parts for my 806 gas 301 engine I found O,rileys auto parts had the rod bearing for less then $5.00 each. Auto zone had the mains for $49.99 set Car quest had a full set of gaskets for $78.41. And Val-u-bilt had the rings cheaper then any one else even paying shipping $102.00. Had price quotes from some major parts houses they were over $475.00 to $527.00 for same amount of parts and Harvester came to over $600.00. So I hope this help you with parts buying And have a good day!

Spud any farmer knows what you mean, we usually go to our dealers and pay through the nose for a part that has a logo, name or colour on it when other manufacturers have similair parts cheaper. Not all parts are created equally and just to be safe I always check quality with price....Mike in Exeter Ontario
