THE CARBURETOR ON MY SUPER A IS IN BAD NEED OF A COMPLETE REBUILD. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THERE IS NO TAG OR VISIBLE #'S ON THE UNIT AT ALL. ZENITH IS ON ONE SIDE OF THE BOWL AND BENDIX IS ON THE OTHER SIDE. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH KIT TO ORDER AS THERE ARE SEVERAL AVAILABLE FOR SUPER A'S WITH ZENITH CARBURETOR'S ? THANK YOU ALL FOR ANY AND ALL SOLUTIONS. DAVID B

David: On the throttle body there will either be a brass tag with the carb # stamped into it or it will be stamped directly onto the throttle body. Sometimes it can be very small and difficult to see unless you clean it thoroughly. There should be two #'s(if you can read them). One number will be the I.H. part # and the other will be the Zenith part #. I.H. #'s in the book are as follows:
C-113 engine-52499DB or 352376r92

C-123 engine-355485r91 or 362384r91

I only listed the part #'s for the gas engines, not distillate or kerosene.

Take the bowl gasket to your Case-IH dealer, and compare with the drawings on his computer -- you will also get a better kit this way.
