What is the approximate weight of a Farmall A, without fluid in the tires? I realize it will depend on the size of the tires.
Thanks. I appreciate all the individuals who are helping me restore a Farmall A through your suggestions.

Fay's data book says 1870 lbs. I suppose that is stripped without optional equipment. rear wheel weights are 145 lbs each, front wheel weights are 45 lbs each. fluid in the tires will add another 200 plus lbs per tire depending on the tire size.

"International Harvester Tractor Data Book" by Guy Fay. Specification info on all the IH tractor from 1939 to 1959. You can get a copy from Binder Books, or Classic motorbooks.

I think a Farmall A weighs in at about 2000LBS. give or take a little, I remember reading on this site that a guy said 1870 and he may have been to the letter.

An A will weigh about 2,000 pounds, give or take a little, depends on how equipped: weights, lift, etc.
