I JUST GOT A FARMALL A THIS PAST FALL. IT HAS BEEN BUSY THIS WINTER PLOWING MY DRIVEWAY. SHE IS A LITTLE COLD BLOODED WITH THE TEMP DIPPING BELOW 0 AT NIGHT AND DAY TIME HIGH IN THE MID TEENS. I KEEP HER INSIDE BUT I HAVE NO HEAT IN MY BARN. ANYWAY I WENT TO TRACTOR SUPPLY AND BOUGHT A LOWER RADIATOR HOSE HEATER. I GOT IT HOME AND STARTED LOOKING AT HE INSTRUCTIONS AND AT THE TRACTOR. IT SAYS TO CUT 2 INCHES OUT OF THE HOSE AND INSTALL. I ONLY HAVE ABOUT 3 INCHES TO BEGIN WITH AND IT'S GONNA BE A TIGHT FIT BETWEEN THE RAD AND WATERPUMP. ANY ONE OUT THERE HAVE ONE ON THEIT A. IF SO HOW DID YA DO IT?

If you have 20W in the crankcase it should start OK with a good battery etc. Put a piece of plastic ,or something like that, in front of the grill. The fan will hold it in place and you can adjust the amount that covers the radiator buy folding the plastic then adjusting the fold up or down. This should allow the engine to heat up enough to run good. Dave

Had same problem on my 200. Had to remove grille and radiator - slide hose inbetween, and shove radiator back on hose.
