I am thinking about mounting a drive coupler to the front pulley of a Cub I am restoring. Do you think it would cause any damage to run a three blade belly mower off of the front of the crankshaft? If I could do this it would be like live power to the mower! Let me know what you think or if you have ever seen it done before?
Thanks, Denny

That would be a verry dangerous thing to do. When you turn the engine over the mower will turn over causing a load the starter cant handle. The mower will be running regaurdless of where you are better think about what the downfall will be. Why would you want it to run as soon as the engine runs.

Yes, and it isn't a bad idea. You may have to enlarge the opening in the bottom of the radiator casting. Don't forget the electric clutch.
