What engine have I got?

Brought home a B from my Aunts place this fall. The tractor was in a half fallen down shed and hasn't run in who kows how long. The engine was stuck but it came apart fairly easy. I cleaned up the sleeves and they didn't look to bad until I measured the bores and found out how worn they were. OK, so now it needs sleeves and pistons. No problem, I have a set on the shelf for a F-12/A/B so I get one of the new sleeves and check it against the old ones and the bottom outside diameter is 1/8 bigger on the old ones (where the seal sits). The bore of the old ones is 3". Then I start stripping down the rest of the block and notice the plate blocking the hole under the distibutor mount. Looks like a mounting for a hydraulic pump.It also has a dipstick. I need to know what this engine is so I can order the right sleeves, gaskets, etc. The block casting number is 356818 R2, serial # IMAM 18781. I have the parts book for the A and B but that number's not in there. Could it be a Super A or C block? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Ed

Thanks for the help. I thought maybe Super C or 100/200 sleeves might work because of the bigger bore but wasn't sure. Thanks again, Ed

Your engine probably came out of pull type combine. Model 22 or 82. I have same engine I am overhauling
right now, going to fire it up today. I got my parts
from A and I products in Iowa. They did excellent job. I Have 3-7/16 inch diameter sleeve at the seal. Ended up getting 3-1/4 dia domed pistons. That block
can have either 3-5/16 inch or 3-7/16 sleeves at seal. Hope this helps Web site aiproducts.com

You have a motor that was probably used on a baler. It also has a place under the filter that the starter would go. Should not have any problems getting sleeves as ones from a later SUPER C should fit just get the dimensions correct when you order.

There's just two basic S&P kits for the C113/123 motors; the smaller fits a 3 5/16" OD at the o-ring sealing point, the larger fits 3 7/16". The A, B, early Super A, (most) C's would have the smaller sleeves, the Super C, late Super A's, A-1, 100/200's would use the larger sleeves. I don't recognize that casting number, poss from an industrial power plant, etc?
