What brand/model loaders will fit the 806?

Pros/cons to using a quick-tachable loader?

What can I expect to pay for a good used loader?

I've seen many used loaders with beat up/missing buckets. Is it easy to get new buckets?

I have been around a lot of loaders, used several, owned a few. Hands down it's Westendorf all the way.

Michael,

I picked a good used Model 22 Farmhand quick-tachable loader for my 450 last summer. I am very pleased with the flexibility of it. It had been used on an 806, so I have the three mounting brackets extra. If you happen to need them let me know. Good luck with your search, good used, loose loaders are hard to find.

Should be able to mount and dismount a westendorf in less than 5 minutes.

My cousin has a Great Bend loader that he really likes on his 806. He uses the tractor like a utility and only takes the loader off for planting. I thought he told me it took less than twenty minutes to take it off and put it back on. It's a QT model with its own support stands.

i too prefer westendorf, and i really see no cons to a quick-tach loader.boy i love mine on my 460 can take it off and put back on in 5 minutes or less.i have to take it off to mow and if it was a pain to get off i'd probably just buy another tractor as fight to get the loader off,

I see one disadvantage to the quick tach loader. It is keeping you from getting another tractor :)

Michael, I put An IH 2350 Loader on my 966. It is a good strong loader easy on and off, I got it used, and I paid $2000 for it a few yrs ago. Also It is allready painted red to match. It will bolt straight up to your 806.
Good Luck,
John A.

I put a Du-Al 320 loader on my 806. It is a good, strong loader. It was used but in good condition when I bought it, and it cost me $2,000.
