Has anyone here mounted a loader on a 240 Utility? I have a small Paulson loader I was thinking about putting on a 240 for light work, like moving snow and occasionally unloading something from the back of a truck. I was thinking of making a sub frame out of rectangular tube that runs from the rear axle to the front bolster and mounting the loader to the sub frame. Any thoughts?

i've got superior loader on mine that was made for tractor according to father in law...its huge and is driven with pump on front..has plenty of power, but remember the pump drags the rpms of tractor down. awhile back someone had told me of actually breaking tractor frame bolts while using loader on the 240. i could see with that light duty of tractor it could happen.

I have a McCormick No.50 loader on a I-240 Utility. Most importantly, you will need to install a separate hydraulic pump. The little pump on the 240 doesn't have enough capacity to effective operate a loader.

Would it be possible for you to send me a picture of the loader on your tractor? I am mostly curious about the mounting. Thanks,Dave
