How far can you slide in rear wheels with sufficient fender room? fenders have not been purchased yet. I need 82 inches from outside to outside to place on trailor. thanks for your help also a big thanks for axle seal information posted earlier.

If you slide the wheels all the way in(wheel casting dished out) you will have a couple inches to spare(2-4") on both sides of a 82" wide trailer.

If you use the fender mounting extension plates offered you should be able to slide the wheels into what ever measurement you need for the trailer. I try to keep the inside of the wheel hub at least 1/2" away from the axle carrier end cap however.
