How many of you have shipped or received parts to Canada and what shipper do you find best?

Cowman: From the other side of the border, here in Strathroy ON. Regular mail, two days my check went to Western Iowa, and three days for the tractor light to to come to me. I once sent a tractor manual to Illinois air mail and that took seven days. I could have walked from here to Illinois in seven days. My experience regular postal service or UPS. You want something across the border pick the people who know the system.

I would recommend using the post office(USPS). When using the other delivery services (UPS) you'll be given a BIG hassle with forms, customs, bonding, ect. AND they charge almost DOUBLE the amount the post office does!

Here isa thought from Canada to the US and US to Canada.

FedEx, UPS, Purolator, DML are all dependable and reasonable. Any of the courier companies or a reputable trucking firm should be okay.

I have had a number of items shipped to Canada from the States and have been very happy with the time frames etc.

One avenue you might look into is USPS. The postal service is very good and reasonably priced and usually delivers within 7 - 10 days which is not too shabby. Depends on the weight and size of course. I have used Canada Post out and have received items shipped by USPS as well.

Just a thought
