I am looking to buy a decent 1486, and from the pictures it is hard to tell what everything is. On the speed trans.(1-4), is fourth all the way back by reverse or all the way foreward by park. I have noticed that all the way back, there is a larger notch that looks like it would be for a road gear to fit into so it won't come out like the 5th gear on an M, but you would know better, just wondering.

Fourth gear will be all the way forward by Park.
1-4 runs staight down closest to your leg and then you will have an H pattern with Park all the way down closest to you leg, reverse straight back from park, high straight down furthest from your leg and low straight back from that.

Hopes this helps.
