OK now I need to ask a question about the TA units. What are the + and - on these two types. All of the units on my dad's farm would free wheel when going down hill and were great on flat or up hill. 300U-450-460 all had TA's.We rebuilt the one in the 300 but that was in 1975 so I have no clue. Thanks Jeff

Hey guys, the BEST way to get away with our hobby is to give all your tractors and enignes to your children. Then you tell "you know who" that the restoration is for her kids! This tactic has greatly increasded my shop time and added our collection, not to mention the fun of working on tractors with my son! What a GREAT hobby..... ..

Kelly glad to hear your parts are in. Looking frward to those pictures. By the way is your "real job" locating lines? My "real job" is diggin them up (or tearing them out) I work for a company that puts in water, sewer, and storm sewer lines, as a operator, however I also own a few cows and grow a few acres of corn and beans.

If you let you know who see the receipt you would surely have the whole weekend to yourself in your shop, with nobody bothering you, you could get that t/a in in record time. ha ha

Just wondering what kind of overhaul on the T/A you decided on. Ramp and roller or the Sprague?----

So all you guys have your own money that you buy things for your tractors and shops and don't tell your wife about? Wow! that really sounds like a great idea. Where do you get the money to begin with? My allowance isn't big enough to buy much.LOL
