Check Ebay, depending on what size your looking for their are usually some from tractor trailers on there. Best bet would probably go to your nearest big truck garage or dealership

I have cut off the bottom of the muffler to fit whatever size stack and weld and grind it off and then paint it with 1200 deg. aluminum color paint just above the weld. I have done about 2 dozen for people and they come out really nice.

What kind of tractor are you putting it on? I would go to the case dealer and get one, i know are dealer has some but i don't know how much they are, or go to a farm automation place and get a stainless milk pipe for a stack, they look sharp, i am going to get one.

I would think the cheapest way would be to go to a exhaust shop and get what you need..then find a chrome shop.
