Why do M's have two different types of front wheels? Mine is a '44 & has 3-spoke(W-6 type)wheels.I've seen others, both newer & older than mine with same type wheels as 300-450 tractors.Does this have to do with where they were built, etc.?Just curious!

There were 2 styles available for the Hs and Ms. the 3 bolt type and the style where the rim is clamped on the hub with 3 clamps. Mine have both styles.

TDK: I suspect it has more to do with the fact that someone has changed them since tractor was new. Those 300-450 wheels you speak of didn't appear until in most cases Super series, or about 1950.
