What kind of oil should I use in the Lift all on my H? I have heard 30 wt non detergent oil will work,it may have hyd fluid in it now,how do you drain it? Would it hurt to mix fluids? I am installing a 3 point hitch with a cylinder that has an eight inch stroke, any ideas on how much fluid to put in this thing? Sorry for all the questions but I need to know. Thanks Ed

If your pump is wore at all or even if it isn't use 30wt. Hyd oil will get warm and thin out and will bypass.

I put a three point on my M a few weeks ago. I just added fluid until it lifted it properly. It leaks a little, which I will check into once the threat of snow is gone. I use 30wt non detergent fluid.

Ed,

I use medium weight hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system on my H. It seems to warm up faster in cold weather. With the 3 point and a snow bucket, I just add oil until it gets to the full mark on the dipstick. If the loader won't go high enough, I just add some more. There is a drain plug in the bottom of the belly pump. It shouldn't hurt anything, but I would not mix two kinds of oil.
