Never noticed it before, was going to put a belt pulley assembly on a NT Regular that I liberated from a wide one.Huh,won't fit past the final drive housing. After looking at another NT,I see that the pulley for these has a negative offset. The pulley for a wide tractor has the spokes and hub in center of the width.Huh again!Guess I'll have to look for another pulley.Maybe somebody would do some swaping?

Dave,
I think you have a pulley from a 10-20. They have the webbing in the center of the pulley. I believe all Regular and F-20 pulleys have an offset. I have heard that the 10-20 pulley will work on the standard tread Regular/F-20, but will be tight on one side or the other. I think the standard pulley will work for the NT and Standard.

A Regular, a F-20 and F-30 all have differnet pulleys. The F-30 is closest to centered and the Regular is the most offset.

Sir - I have a paper pulley in good cond. The web is on the back of the pulley so it looks like a bowl if you set it down on web. There are 2 4-bolt mounting patterns. One will bolt to a C Farmall. We could probably arrange something so you could have it. Jerry

Thanks for the offer, but the kind of pulley I need is all metal with a splined hub that fits over a shaft retained by a castle nut and cotter pin.Thank You anyhow!

Sounds like you are trying to put a F-20 pully on your NT Regular. The Regular Pulley is offset more than the F-20 Pulley.

Well now you got me to wondering. At just a casual glance the pulley on my '37 NT F-20 looks like it has just the right off-set to work on the NT Regular.Who knows what kind of parts swaping went on over the years with my hedge-row prizes.Piecing incomplete tractors back together is kind of like a puzzle-treasure hunt.Good thing I'm not in a hurry!

Hummm, I put an 8 inch pulley on a F30 NT. I had to remove the drive, take out most of the studs as well as a couple of bolts on the final drive itself and then put it on as an assembly. There is just room to get the belt on. I did cuss a little too. But like I tell the dog, "we've come to far to turn back now"
