I just added a WFE to my 300. In addition to having the tie rods behind the axle, you may see 'SCHWARTZ' cast into the top of the uhhh arm thingies that the tie rods bolt to. I forget what they're called but I saw a name cast there on mine! Zak

On the factory IH wide front the center pivot is made of cast iron. All of the after market fronts that I know of the center pivot is made out pieces of flat iron welded together.

If the tie rods are behind the axle it is either later style IH, Schwartz, Speeco, or I think there was another aftermarket wide front. Here is a picture of a Schwartz heavy duty on my H:

What company/model parts and setup are you using to add power steering to your H? I'm thinking of doing exactly what you're in the process of doing - power steering with HD Schwartz wide front end.

Thanks,

Dave

I'm using a Char-Lynn torque motor, hydraulic flow divider from Northern Tool & Equipment, machine shop is going to make the spacer needed to mount the torque motor (available from steelwheelranch). Hoses from local implement dealer or Runnings, whichever place I end up.

See my website>Link

Sorry>Link I don't have more up, just what I have done so far. No time or $$ lately to finish the project!

Not yet, but I have most of the parts rounded up to do it. Just need to find the time and additional $$ for hoses, etc.
