We've got a #37 2-way tractor plow, and a parts book we have says that they were made from 1927-1947. They were made off an old P&O design, and we kind of thought they were quite unique, so we decided to restore them. Can any one help me find out what color they should be painted?? Thanks in advance guys!!

I have a tumbelbug plow made in the late 50's. It has white wheels, and blue shares and the frame is red. I do know that my dad purchased it at the IHC dealership in 1958 and it was new. It is hard to tell how long it sat around but it has 8 bolts to the wheel and a blue hub on the outside of the wheel. I purchased it from my cousin after his dad purchased it from mine. My dad went to a 2 point spinner plow and it had too much sidedraft and then went straight to a 560 and a 3 bottom and it worked good. (Good old days) 560 Diesel on a 314 spinner w 14 inch shares and the 806 on a 642 4 bottom with 16 inch shares. 806 always led and waited at the end. 560 always sweated and usually ran in seperate fields.

I've got 2 of those tumblebug plows and need to find out about them myself. I have 2 different models. one is a little older i think. they are both two bottom. the newer one has tilted wheels and enough paint left to tell what the colors were.
