Yes- To remove with out taking pump apart, remove
sloted drive wheel from rear of pump.Should be a
small tension ring on end of shaft to keep it from falling of.But on most theres no way it will fall off.I rigged up a puller to remove as there
is keyway on shaft and very tight to remove sometimes.Seal is exsposed now take a small sharp punch put 2 holes in seal, screw 2 metal screws in holes and pull with pliers. For front seal remove drive gear and 4 bolts in front plate, seal comes out on pump side of plate.Hope this helps.

It has been a number of years and my memory isn't what it used to be.First is the seal just leaking or is the seal blown out of the housing?A blown seal indicates too much side clearance between the shaft and bearing. In this situation you will probably never get a new seal to hold as there will be too much oil under pressure coming by the shaft and bearing for the bleed off return hole to acomodate. When you apply hyd pressure to raise a load the seal lip will be turned over or the whole seal will be pushed out.I always tried one new seal and if that one blew out in a short period of time then I replaced the pump. The last time I tried to find a new M&W pump was about 8 years ago and was told they were unavailable. The IH live pumps will not fit on the older M's as the timing cover bolt patern is different.
