Not the original tread style, but I just bought 2 Firestone Field and Road 6 ply 12.4-38 (11-38)for $275 each. Rims were usually 10 inches for 11.2-38 (10-38) but the 12.4's or even 13.6's fit just fine. They have always made 12.4's, just used to call them 11-38, 11 inch tread width, 12.4 inch cross section, exactly the same tire.

12.4x38 is a very common tractor tire to find. Also the Titan brand which is the old Armstrong brand.

That's 'BS'. Titan, Firestone, Michelin, and Galaxy all make that size. I'm sure there are more also. You just need to find the right tire guy (or gal).

Galaxy. I tried to get a match for a 14.9X38 8 ply about one year ago and couldnot make contact with Galaxy or a Galaxy rep. Where can I find a Galaxy rep or distributor?

Jim, if I remember right Galaxy tires are made overseas. U.S. office in NJ, I think. I'll see if I can find a number for them so they can tell you where the nearest dealer is. oleblu
