My neighbor has a hydraulic leak from his belly pump on his "M". Just recently I remember seeing a discussion on how to remove the pump along with pictures. I have done a search, but can't find the actual discussion. I would appreciate some help finding the discussion or help in finding the location of the pictures so I could pass them on to my neighbor.
Thanks!

Just remomve all the piping, drive dog and 4 bolts and drop it down with a floor jack. Hold on to it though as it will tip over on you if not careful.

Floor jack and a T handled rod with some square stock welded to it to match the "keyway" makes it pretty simple one man job.

getting it out is easy. two guys can let it down by putting a rod through the cultivator mounting hole or you can use a floor jack. when I was young I could lie on my back and put them in and out alone. I just held the pump up with my knee while I took the bolts out and in.

Here's a link to some pictures of the arrangement I used to lower mine. Kelly C used a similar setup, he has pictures on his site, too.

I made up the special handles - but a trans jack or floor jack would be easier on your backs....

Dang computer. Thirty years ago I had an album by Goose Creek Symphony. Might still, somewhere. It had nothing to do with Goose Creek, S.C., just up the road from Charleston. You connected with either of those?

No. I live in the central Michigan area. Goose Creek run through our land and dumps into the Grand River.
