I have a 1951 super a farmall. And i have a hydrolic leak. I remover the actuator. At least i think that is what it is called. I pulled the two top cylinder rods out and the O-Rings are gone. I have look all over and can not find any that will work. Can someone give me a place where i can get them and the replacement boots. Many thanks!

David: The part numbers I gave you were right out of the parts book. However there could be two explanations; 1)-many I.H. part #'s are supersceded to a newer #. make sure the website you used was able to check for the new number. 2)- If that does not work, then in many cases the part may no longer be made. For this particular part,a rubber boot I was under the impression that it is still available, especially since you can get the other boot number. So check for superceded numbers.

David: There is a kit available from I.H. which has all gaskets & o-rings and I thought boots as well, to rebuild the whole unit. If your dealer can't or won't as sometimes happens call 1-800-248-2955.

David: The part number for the kit from I.H. is 354007R96. It does not however include the boots which are #'s 351754R3 & 351753R3. Kit does include what looks like all o-rings/gaskets/&seals. Good luck!

Have you tried your local Case/IH dealer? They have had everything that I have needed for my C. For a few dollars you can have them ship them to you if you aren't located close to one. You might be able to get them elsewhere but if you give the IH partsman a good description/part number you can be sure that you will be getting the correct fitting part. I am not a believer in "cheaper is better". Sometimes there is a good reason why the correct part may cost a little more.
