Working on a Cih 7110, Tractor quits immediatly after starting. Does not appear to be the fuel system itself, so now I have to start checking the fuel solenoid and sensors. I am looking for some of that hard won, hair pulling experience to help along. The tractor shuts down very quickly after start up, less than 10 seconds, way less than the built in 20-30 shutdown thats supposed to happen on low oil pressure, etc. Also there is no indication or alarm on the dash. Help!

Had the same thing happen to one of our 7140's. The solenoid on the injection pump wasn't holding the shutoff arm open. Made a small piece of wood to wedge behind it to hold it open until we could get it changed. Have someone else try to start it while you watch. Then you will see just what to do.

Change the cab power solenoid. Setting in the seat it is the one on the right side of the cab where the fuse are located. This happens all the time on the older magnums.
